Is it possible to make our daily parking expericence Easier?

Parking has always been a problem in metropolitans among the United States, especially in the Bay Area. This mobile app is aimed at providing a convenient and time-saving parking experience to users.

With our app, the drivers can search parking spaces faster, and the payment process will be more simple.

Challenge

According to our survey, more than 75% drivers spend over 10 minutes on average driving around looking for parking spaces. Furthermore, extending the parking time is a difficult task for them.

Research Highlights

Time

According to the survey, over three fourth of the informants spend more than 10 minutes finding a parking place. On average per week, they mostly spend 15 minutes looking for a parking.

Concern

The top concern of informants still remains parking space availability. Secondly, the type of parking spot is also their concern, eg. Parallel or street-side. Some informants worry about they can’t get the right space at the right time.

Types

Over 45% of informants refuse to park in a shared private-owned parking spot. Street parking and valet parking have almost the same preference ratio, which is 25%.

Features

According to the result, reservation is the most needed feature. The second one shows the parking location, followed by pre-paying feature.
